Football seems to be more and more of a game where whoever has the ball last wins, and as time goes by Im becoming less impression by the sports dynamics..

I feel like back in the 90s team weren't practicing the two minutes drill like that so when Brady and Manning did it, it was like :wow: "They did it again" But now im seeing game winning drives in like 90% of close games... Is the two minute drill even as difficult and spectacular as these sports announcers make it out to be cause Im watching all of these football games on tv like :aicmon:

Looking strictly at the NFL playoffs and CFB playoffs so far, only 1/7 of those games could really be classified as "whoever has the ball last wins"

It's an American thing. The sport is embedded in our culture and people pass it down to their kids, guys even look at other guys funny if they aren't knowledgeable about the game

I'm assuming op is a foreigner

Defenses have been nueteres so much mostly with not being able to touch WRs that a lot of these 2 minute drills end up with points because it's not hard to get into fg range

Im not talking about blowouts.. Im saying when two teams are relatively equal in strength it seems to always come down to whoever has the ball last...

Had Alabama had 1:30 on the clock more Im fairly certain they would be champs right now .. Teams drive up and down the field during a two minute drive like its NOTHING

I guess what Im saying is that I've seen way way way more successful two minute end of game drives than I've seen failed ones, and Im just having a hard time being impressed by them these days..

I think it's the opposite.

Offenses feel more robotic.Players more like mercenaries for hire.

That old school "organic" feeling is gone. You don't see high levels of comradery /chemistry out there.

The game is so over-thought it's exhausting.

They don't even get the same amount of practice time.

It's not just football. These analytic folks got the sports game down to a science.

Ignorance definitely was bliss:mjcry:

.

So what you're saying is, equal strength teams = close games.

Bama also would've needed a touchdown and their passing game is :hhh:. They were able to score off a long scramble but not sure that happens twice.

No ..Im saying exactly what I wrote to you the first time.. Winning a football game seems to come down to whoever has the ball last, not necessarily who the better teams is..

And Bama finished there two minute drill faster then Clemson, so I don't see how you "doubt" that they could do it again when they did it faster & without an illegal pick play:comeon:
