I gave that show a shot earlier this year after hearing people say its one of the goat shows, but i thought it was just boring. After 6 episodes i just gave it up. I didnt like any of the characters.

It's a late night soap opera man. Either you like it or you don't.

Its one of the most predictable shows I've ever seen. Its still a decent drama though :yeshrug:

Great acting
Great detailed writing
Great representation of an era that makes it seem like you lived there.
Plus it's just cool :smugdraper:

I'm assuming people don't like it because it's not their cup of tea or they have ADD and can't pay attention unless blood is on their screen every 5 minutes.

The premise sounds boring which is why I haven't watched. Most of The Wire was talking and the characters. I might give it a chance but I feel like I don't care at the moment.

Just finished the 1st Season last night and watched 3 episodes of Season 2 with my girl... It's a well done show, but it is straddling that boring line for me.

I'll keep watching because they dive into the characters quite a bit and I can see it progressively building up as well, but after Season 1...

How the fukk didn't Peggy know she was knocked up until the baby is born? She was looking fat as hell the last few episodes in that Season, but I thought she was prego in real life.
