THEE worst "A List" producer of all time. All of the hits/classics he has are in spite of his wack music. If he was a jazz musician back in the day, Miles Davis would've whupped his ass for anybody thinking they were on the same tier.

I completely forgot this song existed, but now I can hear the beat, and Fab going "ay, ay, ay, OH!" That's commendable. :ehh:
Swizz rode his legacy off of two dope beats.
Imagine if Dr Dre or Timbaland only built a career off of two dope beats :dahell:

The beat is trash, but to be fair getting a Mariah Carey feature in the late 90s/early 00s was a huge play any rapper.
This seems like more of Jay the businessman move than a rapper picking a dope beat

He fumbled the feature because he chose the worst beat possible. Probably paid Mariah 500k+ and the song flopped, it wasn't even released as a single.

Beat wasn't corny, the concept of the song and 50 Cent made this corny. Throw 2006-2008 T.I. on this with a different concept and hook and this is easily a 5/5 banger.

Disagree. It's one of Timbaland's worst beats to me. It's obnoxious, trying too hard to be futuristic and epic yet sounded dated even in 2007. The approach and the hook make it worse, for sure. But it sound like one of those lame Timbaland knock offs that was all over the place in the late 90s early 00s, but even worse because it was years later and it was actually him

I'm nowhere near a swizz fan, but no that's simply not true
Of course he has more than two dope beats, but his legacy is Ruff Ryder Anthems. I can't even think of an classic album he has his fingerprints all over.
I can't even think of a classic Swizz R&B joint
