Unpopular opinion: Encore isn't that bad. It's not a classic, and it has terrible songs on it, but it's not an embarrassment to listen to. It doesn't even start off that bad. Most of the good songs are in the beginning, and there's enough material there to make a better album if you cut out the bullshyt. I just think when it came out, people were like
because it was a huge step down from The Eminem Show. It's just a bipolar album, and I know why (the leaks, drugs). If I could compare it to something, it reminds me of Jay-Z's later albums like Kingdom Come and BP3. They don't hold up as projects, but they all have good songs on them, even some great ones.
