Don't get me wrong Rose is a legit superstar, but fact of the matter is Russell Westbrook is better shooter, volume aside, a better passer, just as good a slasher, a better defender and way more durable than Rose, and has had more post season success in a much more competitive Western Conderence and this is as a second banana.
westbrook benefits from playing with the best player in the western conference. so he should have more post season success.
rose put up 18ppg in like 50+ games or so. but he doesn't need to be a volume scorer with gasol putting up 19ppg and butler putting in 20ppg respectively. I didn't like his assist numbers last year. they were poor, and he didn't defend well most of the season outside of the few times he put forth an effort.
