every job I've ever had brings me stress: IT and non IT. Site Reliability Engineering might be what you're looking for though. Anything with pager duty and on call shifts generally means you don't have to take the work home with you if you are not on duty.

200k seems low for what is essentially a Ph.D in networking.

Now it’s a catch 22, because in order to get into IT presales you need presales experience. But the work is so easy, anyone can do it. Basically if you know how to talk and not come off as a weirdo that’s half the battle.

Just recently started a sales engineer role but yeah it took several years of support and operations experience to get here.

Lucrative though.

Get a network plus cert and apply for a NOC technician role. You won't do a lot of stressful work and deal with constant call from angry end-users.
