Is it like spending a night in jail?
Are you officially considered a criminal?
How does it affect job hunting ?
Educate me brehs...
Every state has different laws, but it is usually a misdemeanor.

It depends on the situation. You might be released on a summons to appear in court or you could go to jail. But that doesn't mean you stay there for the night. Tou can be released on bond or your own recognizance.

It depends on where the protest is.
You can protest, like along the sidewalk of the White House. If you block entrances to the Pentagon, you will be moved.
