I keep reading this online.. It sounds cool and all but can someone really explain the leagues motivation for this?
Especially when juxtaposed with a light skinned, baby faced, product of a 2 parent home, suburban raised, ex ball boy, son of a former NBA veteran, sibling of a Duke educated fellow pro athlete, with a Food Network approved multi racial wife, an adorable toddler girl that makes casual fans follow the game, with higher jersey sales, Bible verses on his sneakers, that never speaks out on controversial racial issues?
As a business theory.. What sense does it make to tear that down, to boost up someone that has consistently made "America's Most Hated Athlete" list?
