What's the longest you've driven with expired tags

I did about a year in Connecticut and also at one point had the wrong tags on a car for 2 months. It was stupid but necessary, alot of police departments in Connecticut have license plate scanners and I only drove those cars in must need situations. Expensive mistake which is the double edge sword because like I said it was necessary at the time. With the expired registration literally got pulled over around corner from my house cops took plates and made me tow the car like less then a half a mile smh. In the case of the wrong plate on car they got me during a quick lunch break at work let me tow the car home since I had all the paper work in it, since I had recently bought it and I got that ticket thrown out since car was right by the court date.
