I think it’s a tie between steak and bacon.

Here’s the thing. Steak is great. But there’s no reason this shyt needs to cost $30, $40, $50 or more in a restaurant. There just isn’t.

It’s the easiest thing to cook. Takes like 6 minutes. And there’s millions of cows in this stupid country. It’s not like there’s a shortage of beef.

This is overrated and expensive for no goddamn reason. The supply is high. The demand is low. People eat less red meat than ever before.

It’s fukkin bullshyt.

Now when it comes to bacon, let me be clear. Bacon is amazing. It makes everything taste better. It’s unhealthy. Sure. But you put bacon on a shoe, and I’m eating that shoe. I just rarely ever eat it. So it shocks me when I hear that it sells out at supermarkets. It’s the quintessential specialty item. By that I mean I might buy it once a year. It’s not something I keep regularly in my house. But that’s just me. I don’t understand who are all these walking heart attacks who buy bacon every week. What is wrong with you?

Honorable mention: Pumpkin Spice anything.

Hotdog of any kind. I could go the rest of my life without ever having another dog again. I don't desire chili dogs at all. Just give me the chili. Can't remember the last time I ate one.

Runner up is a Philly cheesesteak :hubie: yall don't kill me but I've never been outside and had the thought "I got a taste for a Philly cheesesteak" even when I go to Philly.

I'll eat one/something similar to it if it's available or it's the best option like if I'm struggling and I gotta choose between a Ham & Cheese Hotpocket or a Philly cheesesteak pocket then I'm rolling with the Philly. But I can go without it forever too.

Let’s get this out the way right now.

A good chicken parm beats a good cheesesteak every day of the week.

Ive seen many households where bacon is a regular breakfast staple on par with milk and cereal. This explains the stores running out.

Admittedly, these hous4holds have a high occurence of obesity and hypertention, but thats neither here nor there if you consider our nations overal demographics :pachaha:

It’s steak and it’s not even close. From what understand the best steak in the world is served in Argentina anyways.

Also yeah pumpkin anything is fukking garbage but that’s confined to white spaces more than anything else

“Argentina-raised cattle have a superior flavor. Because of the established Argentine beef production, Argentine steaks breed an elite tasting profile no matter the cut. Argentinian beef is high quality, tender, and juicy.”

Not overrated, but most people don’t really know how to cook a steak correctly.

Even most restaurants don’t prepare them right and if you don’t know what you’re doing it’s dry, flavorless, and bland tasting or it’s undercooked.

Flavor is better at medium to medium well. Well done is usually always overcooked medium rare to rare is undercooked. Biting into meat with blood and stuff still running out of it…
