What's the next trend in hip hop

After watching that Pharrell and Kanye vid, it got me thinking about the trend in hip hop of everybody being some sort of renaissance man and into art. Not saying Ye and Pharrell aren't, but a lot of people just seemed to follow.

What's next after this high art trend?
