It's for when you are in a area with no cell reception. I cut it off when I don't need it because when you make calls it sends a echo to who you are taking to

I know at my old spot no cell phones got service, not even Verizon so wifi calling was mandatory

i thought this thread was going to be about what is the point of your wife calling you all the time. its not like she won't see you when you get home at night. she should stop worrying
