I was in college and UPS’a scheduling cut into my classes. I probably don’t make that mistake NOW and gut it out to figure something out with management, but at the time…?

One week. I worked at Taco Bell one week when I was a Junior in High School. I left for two reasons. The Sister that hired me was moved to another Taco Bell and was replaced by a racist White man. Second reason was that I was able to get a job lined up at KFC up the street working with friends a week later.

Back in 2010 I got seasonal job at Toys R Us. On the first day, 2 or 3 hours into the shift they put me in the video games section at the register. It was a long line and they were all looking at me. I did not know how to work the register and the person who was suppose to be there completely disappeared. I tried to call for someone, no one came, I walked out immediately.

Went through four interviews and took a job..quit right after the welcome interview door to door sales. No warning in the interview.

6 months. Switched banks.

Former job had a shytty, abusive female boss. Abusive for no reason. Maybe cause she was ugly. Anyways, got a new job which lined up perfectly with her going on business trip in another state.

While she (boss) was away, I came to the bank. Told the asst boss that I quit (she understood) and she allowed me to email my now former boss my resignation (on the bank's computer) with her superiors cc'd on the email. Did this so she couldn't say she fired me. She had a rep of doing this even though folks resigned.

Then proceeded to email all my cool coworkers and tell them of my resignation so, again, the former boss couldn't lie and say she fired me.

Lastly, proceeded to email a 13-page letter of every infraction/ illegal banking act the former boss committed (i.e. falsify signatures, promissionary notes, etc.) and then dipped.

Let's just say, the former boss's trip was cut short and she was fired shortly thereafter.

Left a sales job cause manager wouldn't let me skate on a Sunday afternoon to go watch football. He basically hit me with the "if you wanna leave, you're fired" line so I threw up the deuce and never came back.

He wss black too.

Never mentioned it to my next gig.
