I really dislike Khaleeji and pop, but I do like khaleeji country bedouin music, which sounds more like arabic blues than country.

What made you all about arabic music? I'm always going at anyone interested in arabic language or music cause I don't get it, probably cause I grew up around it

my best friend from college is Palestinian ...and her husband is from Jordan. i went through a period of being HEAVY into Arabic culture ...hanging with her at Arabic clubs/restaurants ...on the dance floor every Saturday night doing the dabke with the best of them... ...cooking the food....crushing Lebanese boys i even speak a tiny bit. I'm from Saudi Arabia pretty much, I'm like 1/4 ethiopian, 1/4 german and 1/2 saudi. I speak arabic fluently but its some sort of riyadh otaibi street slang, some get it but some don't.

I lived in the US most of my life though, and I'm more of a HipHop and Metal dude than arabic music, I know how to cook most of the dishes and stuff though. Also at dabke.
