WOAT Decision?

  • Vegeta and Nappa: Playing games with the Z fighters and waiting for Goku to arrive

  • Z fighters: Letting a six year old go into space to fight a bunch of OP demonic alien nikkas

  • Frieza: Continually sending ineffective goons when he could easily do it himself

  • Goku: Not killing Frieza (on two occasiosn)

  • Z fighters: Not using the Dragonballs to prevent the Android Saga from happening

  • Vegeta: Trying to fight 18

  • Krillin: Destroying the remote that could've deactivated the Androids

  • Vegeta: Letting Cell reach his Perfect Form

  • Goku: Giving Cell a Senzu Bean

  • Gohan: Trying to torture Cell instead of just killing him

Not a series known for the characters making smart decisions most of the time.

Yeah, I know there are tons to choose from so it's a tough call, but some of the ones I can think of -

  • Piccolo: Being a chatty patty about the Dragonballs while Raditz was dying, which led to Vegeta and Nappa (and later Frieza) finding out about them and coming to Earth.
  • Vegeta and Nappa: Playing games and waiting for Goku to return instead of just killing everybody. Typical Vegeta arrogance, but still.
  • The Z fighters: Letting Gohan travel to Namek in the first place. I don't care that he's half Saiyan, he was like 6 or 7 and had no business there to be honest.
  • Frieza: Continually sending :flabbynsick: goons after Vegeta and the Z fighters and letting them get zenkai boosts when he was easily strong enough to kill them himself in 10 seconds
  • Goku: Not killing Frieza when he had the chance. Typical Goku decision.
  • The Z fighters: Deciding to train to fight the Androids instead of just using the Dragonballs to find Dr. Gero and stop him from releasing them in the first place. Typical Saiyan decision but the other characters should've told them to kick rocks.
  • Vegeta: Being arrogant and trying to fight 18 despite Trunks warning. Predictable and completely avoidable L.
  • Krillin: Destroying the remote that could've deactivated 18. Not like he couldn't have wished her back or something once Cell was out of the picture if it was that serious.
  • Vegeta: Letting Cell reach his perfect form. Typical Vegeta decision, but one of the worst ones.
  • Goku: Giving Cell a Senzu Bean. Kind of worked out in the end, but still a very dumb move.
  • Gohan: Not killing Cell when he had the chance and giving him a chance to self destruct.
  • Vegeta: Letting himself get posessed by Babidi because he's having a midlife crisis
  • Gohan: Letting Buu trick him into getting absorbed.
  • Goku: Saving Mr. Satan and Dende instead of his sons. It worked out but was still a terrible decision at the time.

Not even going to go into Dragonball Super since I'd need like 15 more poll options :heh: but what do you have as the single worst decision by a DBZ character?

I think I gotta go with them not just preventing the Androids in the first place because Goku and Vegeta wanted a fight. Yeah you would expect them to make a decision like that but the other characters should've just done it anyway; they would get over it.

Risk a terrible future timeline happening to appease some Saiyans who are obsessed with fighting, brehs.

Piccolo actually does a LOT of dumb shyt despite being the smart one. He's so pessimistic a lot of the time that he does the extreme even when it isn't necessary.

goku gave cell a senzu bean :dahell:
But Goku was right in the end:yeshrug:

Remember, while everyone else was :damn: at Goku and Cell's fight, Gohan was on some :unimpressed: because he was at a way higher level than Goku even at SSJ1. Goku's mistake was not realizing Gohan would start acting like a hoe and refuse to fight.

Still doesn't change the fact that sending your 11-year-old son in alone to fight an OP genocidal android is a questionable decision, much less giving the Android a powerup...:francis:

To be honest they should've told Cell to shove his games up his ass and all jumped him at once before he had a chance to start making Cell Jrs and shyt, I think they probably could've beat him.
