What's the worst pain? Physical or emotional

Torn a meniscus, sprained my ankles a handful of times, tore the ligaments in one of them in fact, have persistent achilles tendon pain, fractured a bone in my hand, had a number of impact injuries from skating and playing sports, been hit by cars 3 times...nothing hurts like the emotional.

Physical pain fuels me because I feel stronger performing feats in spite of my body, and seeing how much more i can take without slowing down. Physical pain challenges my ego. Emotional pain challenges my heart and mind.
My ego is the strongest of the 3.
