Go into sales breh.
At the last place I worked Sales people made bank. But there was nothing sadder than one of them people who didn’t make quota and weren’t allowed to go on the international sales trip with everyone else.

Got so much done when they were all gone. Conference room upgrades and just leaving early some days

Yeah. You definitely gotta be confident and GOOD AT IT to live off of sales.
There was another dude, he did great ALL YEAR, but then he got assigned a shytty territory and didn’t make his quota for the quarter. So the next quarter he tries to get a promotion, but they’re like no you’re not doing well enough. Dude was pissed.

But everyone who had a good territory was happy and making more than I was in IT.

A commercial pesticide license is pretty easy to get. Work with an established company and decide if you want to go it alone after a few months.

search around your area for commercial drone classes in your area.

search colleges in your area for GIS/Surveying courses.

Instrument tech/ operator

Real talk, find a career center in your city or region. Talk to them about career changing programs. Follow the community colleges in your area on IG. There are a lot of programs out there and community colleges usually have relationships with the industry’s in your area, to specifically help train people like you
