What's up with Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3?

I bought this shyt during Xbox Sale, never played it.

This shyt is supposed to be the classic, but whats up with controls and camera?

Its fukking awkward.

Is this game basically a linear puzzle without any options?

& the whole using O instead of X to select things made me have so much trouble when I played MGS 3

Regardless, it's a classic series of games

For MGS3, press R3 to switch the cam between the classic view/third-person.
