What's up with the loud music?

I went to TGI Fridays (in the DMV area) which is overwhelmingly black and they were playing loud music like a club. When I thought about it, every restaurant that has a majority black customer base seem to have the need to blast music loud enough where you could barely hear the person you are talking to. What's up with that because that crap is getting annoying.

Depends on the day I go and the time. If I'm there at 7pm on a tuesday with my family a little music to set the mood is cool. If I'm there Thursday through Saturday at 10pm, turn that shyt up

It's not just Fridays. I could care less about the music. I just hate when I can barely hear the person I'm talking to cause of the volume.
