What's up with the Playstation 4 camera?

I was playing through Tomb Raider and noticed it had voice commands. i thought it would be nice to get the PS4 camera so i can use stuff like that and people are selling these for $40-$50 over retail on eBay and most major retailers are out of them. did Sony just underproduce or are that many people interested in it?

its funny Microsoft forces Kinect in the pack and people bytch and Sony gives the option and can't keep the camera in stock.

it's both :sony underproduced and people are that interested in it...you can tell sony didnt expect the people's interest in the cam would be this great, especially with the backlash for kinect....but once people got their hands on the cam, saw how easy the broadcasting/streaming was/is, and all the shyt you can get into doing it, the interest/demand skyrocketed...

which is great for us gamers, cause the cam is actually pretty cool and a great add-on for the ps4...with the hightened interest in it, sony will now probably invest in it, develop things for it....and not just treat it as a bullshyt accessory...

edit - the cam also works great as a mic

No one really bought the eye toy 1 simple as that.

So Sony didn't make too many cameras this time around .

In about 2 months there will be more than enough.


The reason they are selling out is because of ps live.
