When you did your thing and your place is secure, you can lay your sword and shield down and offer encouragement, knowledge, mentorship, connections/contacts, perspective, to the people who remind you of yourself at same position (Kobe did same thing in his own way but there are many examples). Its a great feeling and natural evolution for man.
