High 3’s like 3.7-3.9

my freshman year it was a 4.29 but I had to wind up dropping the honors math and science between my sophomore and senior years so the gpa wasn’t weighted as much but I still had honors English, history, and writing. I was top 7

Our valedictorian graduated with a gpa of 4.5 or something like that. She a pediatrician now…

2.3. :russ: fukked up my first 2 years and then I woke up my junior year. You have to understand I was going through it at that time so I didn't care. I was an at risk kid. Could have easily got locked up or gotten into some shyt. I can talk about it now but I had some close calls trying to be on that wannabe thug shyt at the time. Self hatred issues and all sorts of problems at home. I was not in a good environment and I was using the internet as a therapy piece. Sohh saw it. Then I wisened up and chose to manage voicing my problems and pain differently. I also wanted to be a rapper at the time. :mjlol: still wanna be a rapper just mature now. I feel like I can still do that shyt as myself.

But yeah, I bombed high school. I was a mess.

Don't remember but it wasn't good. Freshman year I gave no fukks I just kept them high enough to play football. After freshman yr I was a B-C student. Sr year and my high SATs saved me.

Doing quite well for myself now :myman:

4.15 weighed, like 3.85 unweighted

got a D my first semester that threw me off

scale for classes was the honors scale, 93-100, 92-85, etc.

My ACT and SAT scores were some of the highest in my class, but I was no where near National Honors Society at my school

Gotta be careful with what you share on here. People will use it against you. "How you gonna tell anyone about covid, you got a 1.6 gpa in high school, nikka."

The same people judging got skeletons in their closet too. That's why I don't trip. It's not like I'm a dummy. I just had issues at the time. If my mind was right, I would had a high GPA. I had like a 3.0 and above both my junior and senior years of high school. Then I went to community college and a 4 year and graduated with a 3.4. I never judged myself based off of how I did in High school. I know I was smart enough because believe it or not, this may sound narcissistic or crazy but I was a gifted kid where I should have been skipped in elementary school. Dead serious but the archdiocese ain't about black kids growth. Sad shyt. After awhile, I just gave up around the 4th grade with math and I had other issues emerging and shyt like picky eating and whatever. I had issues back then. I've always had issues. Just was smart enough to understand them.

Sometimes circumstances do affect people's growth or ability to reach certain places. You might have to be the right complexion, have money, know the right people, have the right connections, be lucky, be in the right places and etc. I've literally witnessed racism in the classroom and was affected by it so that's that. And besides we don't learn the shyt we are supposed to learn anyway in these educational institutions. They just track you or prepare you to be in a certain class structure. They gave the white kids a total different academic layout than us black kids in the same damn school building. :picard:
