What's with all the Africans getting shytted on in DC?

I'd like to point out that I've never been to DC so i was kinda shocked. As soon as we got to the airport I noticed that most of the people working low end jobs at the air port were African (most weer Ethiopian). I saw at least 7 Ghanaian homeless dudes at the Airport and I also talked to at least 5 Ethiopian cab drivers who have been working the same job for 9+ years. Wtf is this . I honestly didn't know that Africans had it this bad out here tbh . I felt so bad for them because it's Christmas eve they have to sit there and deal with all the rude cacs and Indians. So my question is this: Is it really that bad out there for Africans or is my perception skewed because there are more Africans in general in DC? I think this also applies to Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Yes, basically the bolded. the DMV hosts the largest concentration of Ethiopians outside of Ethiopia.

But also those jobs you mention are hustle jobs from my experience. For example: I know one Ethiopian who started out working as parking attending in a parking garage not more than 10 yrs ago...Now he owns at least a couple of his own parking garages in prime real estate areas of DC. He hires mostly Ethiopians (fob).

Another example, alot of the cab drivers own their own cab license or token and end up making enough to open a convenience store or restaurant and...you guessed it...they hire more Ethiopians. I assume its the same with other African diaspora groups but I can only speak on Ethiopians cause that where Im from.

There are also professionals, govt employees, media people etc. so its a mixed bag.

When i went to dc i must have been in the wrong places because i didnt see any ethiopians

It sounds like they are still trying to work and trying to earn money. They may not have college degrees etc.?
