I worked at a major grocery store as a teen out here (they're defunct now), but we weren't allowed to take tips when helping folks with their stuff, but I would do it anyways

I was only making like $4.35/hr back then anyways so who gives shyt?

it was very lax, I worked at one of the "hood" ones and work hardly ever got done. pretty easy to float around and skimp on doing what you're actually asked to do. some of my coworkers used to come in, swipe their cards to clock in then walk out the store and fukk, get high, play basketball, etc. and come back hours later to clock out. I got fired after about two weeks for some dumb stuff and it was probably the easiest job i ever had lol .

EDIT:
and it's like they are ALWAYS hiring. I feel like I could have applied 2 weeks later and got my same job back. if you can't attain a job there then I don't know what to tell you.
