The pain..the hangover only lasts awhile...the pain lingers on...shows up when you least expect it...Have you doing/saying things you will regret later..settles in your heart...I'm speaking from experience here.

Ill take the pain over the hangover. Feeling like im going to die physically is a lot worse then feeling emotions. When you laying on a bathroom floor like its your bed trying to find a cold spot to ease the suffering of nausea, ill take pain, anyday.

That pain does last a LOT longer and can be triggered by the most random ish

The hangover. Cause you drank to get over the pain, and maybe you did for a few hours. But then you wake up with a crazy hangover on top of the pain and you're hurting physically and emotionally. The pain is unavoidable. The hangover is self inflicted.
