Growing up in the public school system seeing children being treated as lesser than for not having multiple expensive sneakers and designer clothes


It’s hard to navigate though cause who doesn’t like nice things but i think when children are being shunned it is troublesome

That‘s 2 different discussions but let’s go to the first question.

Its not financially responsible and it doesn’t help them progress in life in the longer run, if your car payment cost more than your rent or about equal, yet you struggling to buy food, support family and etc. that is a problem.

Also when maintenance stuff happened (and trust me, as someone who own‘s a couple of fairly expensive cars, I know the bill does eventually come) it just puts them in a worse position
