Other than that it seems like 4 adults who put what could be their "differences" aside to support a young man who deserves it. Four mature black adults (judging by the picture) who all have one common goal: ensuring that the most important person in the picture knows that his education is supported by all of the adults who have an impact in his life.

I think its dope that they seem to get along with each other.

The step dad and step mom seem to be willing to participate in the life of a child that's not theirs.
Mom and Dad seem to be willing to cooperate with their respective ex spouse for the betterment of the child.

Why would someone see a problem here?
