Just got one and got to thinking about it.

There is no reason to be ticketed for putting no one in danger other myself IN MY CAR. No swerving, no running lights/stop signs, no endangering pedestrians.

Are nikkas ticketed for not putting locks on the internal doors of their house?
Are nikkas ticketed for attempted suicide?

I felt like this nikka was ing and had a quota.

Well, it's probably just a flimsy excuse to raise revenue for the state then, right?

So next time you won't be stupid and not wear one. That COULD be the logic behind giving you the ticket. So wha you were n the complex and made it home, you should've been mature enough to strap up. Shyt is saving YOUR life as well as OTHERS so why not just wear it?

Pretty much.

If preventing yourself from flying through the windshield or smashing the shyt out of your head doesn't make you put on a seatbelt, the threat of getting a fine should make you want to.

If all cops did was give you a warning, would that make you want to put on a seatbelt?

this is what I'm saying. I HAVE to put my seatbelt on just cuz the car will keep beeping every 10 seconds or so.

back in the 90s when I was stupid, I was all about NOT wearing seatbelts, but I always wear mines now.

last week my wife was the passenger in an accident where a kid hit the car and flipped them over into a ditch. and her coworker ended up breaking her leg and getting internal bleeding cuz she didn't have a seat belt on. my wife only got a minor shoulder bruise. and the car was totalled.

In Oklahoma, they have a mandatory seat belt law. But you can ride a motorcycle here without a helmet and it's totally legal.
