I see a lot of posts of people talking about #BlackExcellence and it’s buying passports, getting raises on the 9-5, spending a lot of money on cars, shyt like that
Granted my great grandparents probably never could imagine having the opportunity to go out the country, or spend hella money with white folks, but it’s gotta be more to the game than that.
I don’t agree. How is doing a whole bunch of dumb shyt, spending money, bringing honor to the ancestors?
IMO it’s the brehs starting business. Doing something with they bread. Buying real estate and revitalizing communities. Putting up the money to send lil Johnny to Law School so he can be the next Johnnie Cochran. Which will in turn have another black body in a position to affect change.
Same with politics.
But it takes someone with some influence to have the wherewithal to move efficiently. I see nikkas all the time in my field make decent money, and don’t do nothing with it but spend it, then retire with they 401k and claim they pushing the culture forward
