I was reading about the hot sauce thread and it reminded me of my family feasts lol.

Say you and your mom are going to a family member's house just to say hey. What can be somethings you'd expect them to do for you as a guest that others wouldn't? What are somethings you like about family gatherings or even just visiting?

I'll start.

When I go to family's house .. They already know we're coming so they start to cooking and making deserts. By the time we get there, they're almost done with the food. We are greeted with tea and an hr later we smash. By the 2nd hour I'm full as fukk ... Nd my aunt look at me like "you better make room, I made Tiramisu last night from scratch WITH COFFEE "

My family is big and crazy

Last I counted I got over 35 first cousins on my mama side. I'm the 2nd oldest of 7. My mom has 6 sisters and 2 brothers. (Moms came from New Orleans in the early 70's so that explains all the siblings).

Pops side is not that big. Well my granny's relatives on my pops side is big, They basically a bunch of hood nikkas from Indiana and the ones in Cali are all from Compton and Lynwood so they just as hood. Micheal Ealy is a third cousin, never met dude or cared to meet him. Only got 3 first cousins and 2 uncles tho.

I could go on and on with all types of crazy stories about my fam but I don't feel like writing it all out right now.

I'm the exact opposite. My moms side I have 19 first cousins but my dad's side... my mom said she lost count around ninty something ... dad is one of 19. So my mom says just 1st n 2nd cousins are closed to 300. No
