What's your favorite Metal Gear Solid game?

For me I think MGS 3 was absolute fukking heat rocks. I remember playing this shyt back during high school and rushing to get home to get to it. shyt was . I honestly don't remember a thing about it but I remember being so impressed about it back then.

That final boss fight

MGS1 right behind that.

MGS 2 I never finished and I thought MGS4 was kind of ass. There was a few dope parts but it was mostly with those damn cutscenes.

I feel like MGSV will be the goat. I feel like it will be the one most similar to 3.

MGS4? Worst one in MGS history IMO.

the best is a toss up between 1 and 3. I'm giving the edge to the first one because of liquid, he was a much better antagonist than Ocelot IMO

3 is the goat to much piff gameplay wise....

Its the san andreas of metal gears..... mgs1 was epic for its time.. its one of them games when u first pick it up you know its gonna be great/revolutionary on some mario64, gta3 last of us ish

Quickly off the top of my head, 3 > 4 > 1 > 2.

I think 2 is underrated. 1 was the most cohesive of the games, but all of it's successors took the game and genre to another level.

MGS3 is such an epic game it's my personal favorite game in the series followed by MGS1. The storyline in MGS3 is the best in my opinion. The boss battles were. The fight with the sorrow was amazing even though you don't really do shyt during the fight the way it plays out and ends. The game play switch up with eating food to increase your stamina and or gather other resources was great.

2 felt like I was watching bold & the beautiful with all the chatty patty shyt going on with Raiden and Rose. Things didn't pick up until the end for me. Plus the backtracking on the big shell was really annoying shyt felt like filler.

4 was a hot mess I didn't like how they treated snake and some of the cutscenes had me but going back to shadow moses was dope. That final boss was the only thing memorable about that game.
