Doggystyle because I have never actually listened to the Chronic...I think the only song I know is "Nuttin But A G Thang"...I don't even know if it is on that album...
I think I tried to listen to the Chronic once, but it felt underwhelming considering how much praise it gets...

I tried to listen to the Chronic but it didn't stick...So, I kept it moving...
There is NO album in this world that is loved by every single human being...
I am not saying the Chronic is a bad album...All I am saying is that I tried to listen to it once, and I really didn't rock with it like that...
Based on that feeling, I am picking Doggystyle, because that is the album that introduced me to hip hop through my older brothers...More sentimental value for me...
I didn't even know the Chronic existed until Chronic 2001 (another album I have never actually listened to from start to finish, I am familiar with the singles that is it)...

i hear you but it's almost hard to believe that the chronic didn't stick bein' that if it weren't for the chronic there would no doggystyle and those albums are so closely related to one another. but it is what it is.
however, i agree with you. everyone has their own opinion; likes and dislikes.
doggystyle is still a great a pick. it's a classic album and one of the best albums in all of music, not just hip hop.
