Haha my breh I hear you I'm a die-hard Knicks fan too but deep down I KNEW that whatever we would do it would be "Yeah but never beat Jordan"...there are debates here about "Yeah but the Rockets never met the Bulls in the Finals" but truth be told, I wouldn't compare a retirement to an injury, an injury is unpredictable and kind of fukks up teh whole dynamics of a season/series, while a retirement doesn't if it happens before the season. And we still needed 7 games to beat the Bulls without MJ.

well in football at least every team deals with major losses and injuries. it's unreal how every year the team that goes farthest just seems like the healthiest.


in basketball it straight up ruins competition and the quality of the playoffs. warriors are obviously not flukes(lol @ that after they started 24-0), but no one can tell me last year's playoffs were entertaining. that shyt was mad boring and lacked a lot of star talent because of injuries: no paul george, no thunder, no kyrie/love in the finals, wall got hurt in the second round effectively ruining that matchup, blazers were done as soon as they lost wesley matthews last year, and the list just goes on once you start including role players.

clips/spurs was good and clips/rockets in the second round was decent, but it was more of a choke job/laugh at the clippers then an actual good series. no other series even went to 7. it just wasn't as good as it could have been.
