When And How Did Backwoods Become The Go To Blunt?

It seems like for the last few years, the only blunt I hear about is Backwoods. I been using Backwoods for years and I'm high key feeling a certain type away. A nikka from Philly put me in them when I was dumb young and it ain't been no turning back. At the time, I had never even heard of them shyts.

So now Backwoods are the cool go to blunt, but nikkas who didn't know what they were used to have mad complaints. "How do you smoke them, they way too harsh" or "You have to put so much weed in them" (Fun fact: you can cut a Backwood and make 2 blunts out of one)

Then when you used to toss a nikka one to roll, and they split it instead of unraveling it Then you show them the right way, and they still act all mad and be like I can't roll these shyts

I remember Atlanta nikkas used to smoke Swishers, Chicago was on the mini rellos, NY was know for Dutches. I remember every NY nikka I knew used to roll Dutches with just the leaf. I remember being in the Bronx with my nikka from Atlanta and he was about to have a nervous breakdown cause he couldn't find a swisher in none the lil hood stores

I just seen a video in the Booth of gay ass Puff and he got a Backwood in his hand. I didn't even know he smoked. Bay nikkas and Philly nikkas probably like cause them the two spots I know that been on them for years
