When are we going to finally admit that Cheesesteaks are overrated trash?

The fact that people take trips to Philly because they think that's were the authentic amazing Cheesesteaks are, is hilarious.

It just overcooked dried out beef, thick bread and tasteless cheese. It has no real flavor, and you can't even season it because that would also ruin it.

Then you got people saying, "Aww you've just never had a real Cheesesteaks. You gotta got to [insert generic Tony's Cheesesteaks Shop] if you want the real." Then you go and it's still trash. We just need to bush this food altogether.

nahhh...real cheeseteaks are made with ribeye steak, for cheese go with cooper sharp or provalone, and the best spots in philly like angelo's and del rossi's bake their rolls fresh every morning in house....

there's no universal love for one food item so i get it not everyone will love it but don't slander the cheesesteak based off of the shyt you eating in Toledo Ohio or where ever you're from.

i've had more great cheesesteaks than bad ones. in fact, i can remember the bad ones more!

its really not a hard dish to make, its the fact that restaurant owners are greedy and cut corners everywhere they can. one place i used to love switched from real stock marinade to this flavorless beef stock mix and their steaks suffered horribly for it. i hope it was worth it for the owner, cause i havent been back since.
