That it fukking sucks, xbox is a hasbeen/joke and my PS4 has been collecting dust for a whole now. You can always count on Nintendo for Mario, Zelda, Smash bros and other IP's so I don't include them but I feel like last gen was so much better. Now we get triple AAA games that are hyped up and then they finally release and it's like nobody gives a fukk what game came out that people are still talking about? I reserved that watch dogs shyt and I've yet to pick it up. Everything was a lot more exciting last gen. We need some new energy in this industry or something.

last gen at launch I was playing Kameo elements of power, perfect dark zero, and og Xbox titles. Then shytty previous gen ports like the Outfit, and Tony Hawks American Wasteland

I'm happy with Titanfall, Strider, Killer Instinct, Max the curse of brotherhood was a solid puzzle platformer and it was free, ACIV - huge game and so far the best AC imo

I see threads like these all the time and I don't think brehs realize how good they have it

While this gen is young, this is a differnt day & age, and ppl these days expect instant gratification in general. So systems getting off to a slow start rubs ppl the wrong way b/c theyre essentialy sitting there with a $400 machine they dont use.

BUT



The thing about this gen is games are going to be a lot scarcer. Their is WAY less studios this gen compared to last, with many more sure to close doors.

Look at whats happening with crytek right now. shyt is about to get ugly. Despite the single fan of the game ryse @Hiphoplives4eva theyre abput to shut down. Havent paid their employees in months

On top of that, games are going to take more money and time to create. Which means less games, less creativity and more sequels or games only being developed with thoughts of being a franchise.


Look at the release for the rest of this year. It's barren. Next year will be the same.


People are in for a rude awakening this gen.



Sony has it right, indies are going to be a HUGE factor.
