I remember those days UPN would stop it right when Goku gets to Namek. Then they would start it back over from the Sayian conflict. Telemundo on the other hand would stop,around when Trunks makes is appearance

I caught glimpse of it when the androids trash the z fighter and saw trunks, and I thought it was Bulma's dad but a younger version, never knew it came on UPN, I thought Toonami was the only channel broadcasting it america.

i used 2 love watching the saiyan saga every saturday at 5 in the morning. i used 2 set my vcr 2 record it or try 2 get up myself, but it was without the doubt the most amazing time i had as a child, especially when the previews to the next episodes were so good
