I remember a few years ago nikkas complained that every rap nikka wanted to be cool with each other, dikk ride each other, etc... calling every new nikka they "brother"

Alotta ppl was saying part of the reason why the south was on top was cuz they all worked together

But it seems like nowadays, more rappers are beefin again like the early 2000s, 90s, except now its not really on wax.

Was it social media and attention whoring that made these nikka true colors come out?

Give some examples.
In recent years:
Obviously this thread was made because of the recent Game/Meek shyt
Kendrick's control verse
Meek/Drake
Meek/Wale (not a beef per se and I suppose they're cool now but it def exposed the true nature of what MMG really is)
Travis/Asap
Cudi's recent lashing out
Wiz/Kanye
Budden/Drake
Ross/Birdman
Wayne/Birdman
tyga/drake

Good.

Rap needs more competition to eliminate the weak MCs.
