When did forearming each other in the head become da new “superkick”?

It's a style thing, a strike exchange in puro is meant to show how much punishment the wrestlers are willing to take (and give) to show their opponent they have a bigger "fighting spirit". As with a lot of stuff in wrestling, it's something that only makes sense in the context of the style, if you can't get around it you'll probably never fully enjoy Japanese wrestling :manny: The point of two wrestlers just standing in the ring hitting each other is not winning the match or gain a clear advantage at that moment, but it's more of a contest that reveals how much of a "real competitor" each wrestler is in that match.
I been watching Japanese wrestling since you were in diapers  it happens in this country too and it's stupid

Technically closed fists are illegal in wrestling "rules" so forearms actually make sense especially if the guys are technical or puro wrestlers.

It works in Japan because its part of the culture, they love seeing that samurai spirit tough man shyt. It doesn't fit in american wrestling imo.

Better than headbutts:picard:.

Most of the time it's just dudes forearming each other in non lethal area to make that "impact" sound. It looks impressive on TV and its a better alternative to folks pulling punches like this is the 80s :scust:
