IDK, i used to do those kind of diets (atkins and south beach) in my late teens and it was hard as hell for me to lost weight on them. The moment I went back to eating carbs, weight would drop off. My body seems to like carbs, IDK, everybody is different. I refuse to do those kind of restrictive diets anyway, they're dumb as hell unless you plan on sticking with them for life, for a lot of people that do them, as soon as they go off those diets, because their hard as hell to sustain in the long term, they go back to eating carbs and that weight is coming right back on. Might as well, eat everything in moderation, work out, and keep your metabolism up.

go a month without eating any type of bread, potatoes or any type of rice and check back in.

Check back in a year from now, when your done with the keto diet and back to eating bread, potatoes and rice, like most people that do this sort of diet end up doing because they can't sustain it for life. Either your doing it forever to keep your weight down, or you're going back to carbs and it was only good for the short term.
