When did so many Indians get in GHANA?

I know Chinese been trying to take over Africa for a while now, but I never knew it was so many Indians there.

Reminds me of how i ran into a Indian business man while traveling last month. He told me so many Indians are all over Africa. I was like “yea maybe SOUTH Africa but that don’t count”

And he was like “no, ALL Africa”

I didn’t believe him then but i do now.

They were the professional class for the British cause it was easier to import them to do clerical work than it was to train natives.

Crazy thing is most have been out there for hundreds of years and are often citizens of these countries.

The difference is that the ethnic minorities in African countries, often times control the economic levers.

That is not the case vice-versa
