Mostly this,most men realize there is no point in arguing with the modern day woman. Your likely to have your words misconstrued,and be demonized. Or you are likely to have them get emotional and want to fist fight you.
Does this all sound familar? It probably does because this is the same with the modern man. The reason you probably dont notice is because men dont typically have controversial or deeper conversation that could cause tension. And men arent likely to try to hold each other accountable or question their actions,because its another man. But try doing so like you do with women and see what happens
