When did you notice all the bitterness creeping into the Coli?

For me it feels like this place is at peak bitterness. If I had to say I'd say 21 saw it creeping up, the year after amping and now its blatantly saturating almost every thread. The masquerade is over:

More importantly why do you think this is and what can we do about it? I feel its indicative of the mental stress and dissatisfaction a lot of people have with living as this place provides a vent but I'm checking less threads these days as the bitterness is in full swing with lots of hateration and holleration.

Look at what does numbers and the types of comments. Could also have to do with a lot of the bird babble being imported and how that is almost always used to create conflict. Back when The Coli was is own ecosystem that set the trends with its own topics. Now its just a link in the digital centipede in tune with the latest churn on the socials I prefer to keep distant.

the bitterness has always been here, the bigger issue is a lot of posters who don't thrive on it left for one reason or another, so then you're left with it.

I will not be putting this poison into my head and won't click.

There was a 1k+ reply thread recently of "cacs taking all of the black women" and I dipped out after 1 page.

The coli is cool but ill be lying if I said it's not alot of mental & spiritual poison in here also.

I legit feel sorry for younger dudes growing up on this site.

This is a good point. It's subjective. What one person might call being real another might see it as being negative or bitter.

Like this for example I remember it was a split on here about opening up registration. Some people were looking at it like they don't want the board flooded with trolls others posters were saying that the former group of posters are just old, flabby, and bitter, and want an echo chamber.
