When did you realise your "homies" were jealous of you?

I remember when I was I was broke and me the "homies" would all go out everybody would chip in on the weed, drink, gas and etc. But, when I started to do more positive things; I notice the "homies" started to slow down with chippin in and acting different. I remember one of these girls we grew up with threw a lil birthday party for herself; so they asked me to bring a lil drink. So, I brought two 24 cases of mgd and I was like drink up. But, the nikkas was kinda low key mad; saying like damn you did not have to bring all of that, we was said bring a lil drink. I was like wtf shyt was on sale; drink up I not going to take it back.

Then I started working more hours because of this new project I received at my job and one of the homies hit me up like what you on. I was like shyt just work. Then he was like shyt nikka you making all that money huh? I was like huh? and; then that's when I started to think about shyt.

I thought to myself these catz are getting jealous over some bullshyt I don't care about; I talked to one of my big homies from my old neighborhood and my uncle and they said them nikkas is jealous. So, I just cut them loose and kick it solo dolo now. I'm not a jealous person, if I see some catz doing something good; it motivates me to do the same.

from what you wrote, it don't even sound like you ballin out. u just working a job and living. so they must be some thirsty hatin dudes if they hating on an a dude that's just working for a living

also, compared to you, what are your boys up to? are they bums? are they working? do they stay with they moms or somethin? how old are ya'll?

I never deal with jealousy. If I get that feeling, whoever is giving me the vibe will be cut off.

But I understand its not always that simple. Specially when its in the family. At one point I saw one family member hating a little but it wasn't serious jealousy and he even admitted it later and apologized. Person wasn't jealous against me, but against another family member.

Also I got a homie that I might cut off soon. Right now he's on the edge. If I hadn't known him for so long I woulda already stopped speaking to him. He's just been disrespectful lately and I don't like his tone. It could have already gone sour but I told him, if u really have a problem with me, tell me what it is, so we can work on it. He calmed down a little after I told him that so he's still in the friend circle. For the time being.
