They could have really made this the goat of all time anime if they had better writers. The storylines were seriously garbage. Imagine if they had carried on with the show and had better stories and villains, Goku would be on like ssj 5 by now and would be a boss.

goku killed majin buu(spirit bomb, with the help of the wish to get him back to full strength)

Seriously though DBZ IMO got weaker as it went on, but to this day no arc in any other anime has topped the Namek/Frieza arc for me.

This. Plus there was a serious lack of character development. The Only characters that developed were piccolo and vegeta, and even that was kinda half assed.
