when did you realize you weren't some super-thug, untouchable super-tough guy that couldn't be fukked with?

I already said this before, but as a young teen I let my 'friend' get jumped and stabbed cause I was too shook to help him out. it wasn't my fight, I had no stake in this other then the fact that I considered this dude a friend at the time, and the dudes he was fukking with were serious. they could've been strapped, who knows

I had a hard time looking myself in the mirror after that
