It didn't really affect me to be honest.

I was more affected by the fact that I was putting out this perfectly curated version of my life (vacation photos, greetings from overseas, dinner pics, etc). It just felt...wrong.

And it felt wrong to constantly see that from other people. Like, "damn, does everyone have a perfect life??" It became low-key depressing.

And the user interface to this day seems so early-2000s.

Haven't logged in in about two years. Will likely do a full delete next year.

facebook didn't get bad until older cacs got ahold of it started gathering in comment sections.

and once it got beyond using your school email, the fake accounts/cartoon profile pic accounts popped up.

I couldn’t even use my Alabama State (an HBCU) email when I signed up back in the day
