I remember the beef DVD's back in the day and DJ Muggs was telling one of his stories and I was shocked when he was saying he had to force Alchemist off Premo's d1ck. So low key I think DJ Mugs has a little resentment there but he put in real work. Props.

What was the context?

If Alc was an up and coming producer and he was stanning Premier I think Premier would agree with Muggs accessment. In the 90's you couldn't be too much of a fan if you were an artist.

Or Muggs could've been hating, I dunno.

The context was DJ Muggs talking about a mobb deep situation and how Alchemist was working with them. It was all complimentary it was like he was saying Alc should be influenced by others too. I think the clip might be on YouTube though.

to say that to his protege in alc.
As alc needed to grow his own style. Which weened itself off extreme influences. Which means alc was going to need to jettison muggs and primo as influences. That hinge on biting.
to get to a level of nonbiting.
