MIxed girl gets trashed for claiming to be black.
Why can't this woman claim to be black without any controversy?
Look at how petty and racist most blacks are towards this girl! It's unbelievable, so race is based on appearance and not her culture?
Black people are just as inherently racist and tribalistic as whites and every other race. The only difference is that Blacks don't have the power to project their racism and tribalism on to others.
However, when they do get a chance project, like in the girl's case, boy will they.
look at these nasty comments:
"NO NO NO< you are not black, you want to be black, but you are NOT!!! one of your parents are black and that makes you biracial. You look like you are 100% white and just accept it for what it is. Better luck next time in your next life."
"U shudnt be considered black u shud be considered what u are and that's biracial. If ur black what makes ppl like Wesley snipes? It's more than just skin color that has to do with being black. Hair is also an issue. U have very stringy almost straight hair. U can literally pass for a white girl with a tan or a Latino chick so when u say ur black u put the rest of the black community on a plain they can not compare. I understand that u have family that's black n all but ur not JUST black ur half white as well. U look more white and therefore I feel u shud claim the side that u resemble more with."
"You're not black, you're biracial. Biracial people aren't black. By calling yourself black, you're following the outdated "one drop"
"
you are biracial though, not black but it doesn't matter you can say whatever but just expect to get a lot of shyt over it lol
"
"I must admit, I did feel some type of way just by reading your video title. But!! After listening to what you have to say with an open mind I have to agree with you.
In "our" defense, you're not black. You're partially black and I felt sideways about your title because I took it as you were claiming to be full black (IOW ignoring your Non-black side). But you weren't and it was my ("our") assumption of this that makes me ("us") feel offended when mixed people say they're black.
I am reminded of Sandra Laing, a black woman born of 2 white parents (blood tests confirm). None of us are 100% anything. "
