When I Was A Kid I Could Watch Movies Over And Over And Over Again

Movies like Pulp Fiction, Malcolm X, Dumb & Dumber, Ace Ventura, Crooklyn, Forest Gump, Juice, Menace 2 Society, Desperado, Do the Right Thing, Clueless, Casino, Tales From the Hood and many many others i have seen PLENTY of times. Was it because i was a kid and simply had time to watch movies repeatedly or becuz movies in general arent as good. I say the latter becuz i dont even WANT to watch a movie a 2nd time now . The last time i watched a movie a 2nd time was Promethius and before that was Book Of Eli. Do yall watch movies repeatedly as adults?

Both. My intelligence is beyond most films that will keep my interest so I'm not going to waste my time watching trash let alone a film I've already seen. I still manage to watch movies but rarely the same film twice unless I want someone to see the film that I saw

My nieces ask to watch the same cartoon movies repeatedly I don't question them because I was the same way

As a kid I've seen the first ninja turtles movie maybe 20 times, the land before time maybe 25 times batman maybe 15 times....white men can't jump like 50 times...etc

and I knew them word for word.

Yeah, that's why I have DVDs and Blurays, I'm not watching something back-to-back unless it's a documentary or just a good film but I'll watch a good movie dozens of time without question.

I watched Home Alone 2 so many times I could recite most of the movie be heart. Nowadays a movie gets one shot then it's :bushez:

The only way I'll watch a movie twice is if i have company over that would like to watch it.

Movies require too much of much attention for too long. I just don't have the attention span like I used to. IF I go see a movie, I have to go to the theater. Watching it at home is not going to happen.

im the same way i dont really like repeating movies unless they classics. i can watch godfather 1 n 2 and goodfellas anytime they on the tv. good will hunting is another one. a few others. most of the time tho i only watch em once n thats it.

I came in here to agree and say I had a Yogi Bear 20 minute video that I could watch repeatedly for hours at a time and not get bored.
